One of KK Sparks for this month is Human Touch and she gave us the Prompt; Tea Time, with which we try to perhaps use a pet (or three) in the background. Setting the shot up as if we had just walked out of it. There is soft muted late afternoon light coming in from the left hand side (out of shot) and from the open door behind me.
My Fur kids frequently visit me in the studio when I have no clients and this is their bed, placed against the brick wall, I just popped an open book, my glasses and an empty crate as a little table in front, told the dogs to lay down and then proceeded to take a few shots; one dog got bored and walked off and then a cat came to investigate, too cute.
Who says animals are difficult to work with? lol Oh My ~ last years Christmas card shoot with all four animals, reindeer hats and Xmas lights, was hilarious and so much fun……….need to work out this years Christmas Card image!
