Is there anything better than fresh avocado on a great rustic toast? I mean there really is no recipe here, grab a fresh avocado, I like mine still a little firm and remove the pip and slice evenly, grab your favourite bread, a wholegrain seed bread or similar rustic bread is delicious and toast, place avocado on toast and crumble a little feta and some cracked pepper…enjoy!
Or…you could add some bacon and a poached egg on top, or blistered cherry tomatoes, really want that Aussie taste? Spread a little Vegemite on the toast before adding avocado (just a smear), it adds a lovely savoury taste.
Speaks and tastes of sunshine and leisurely Sunday mornings…just add freshly squeezed OJ or freshly brewed coffee, heaven!
