Ice-cream Bread

Yes I said Ice-Cream Bread, this was something we just had to try, simple to make and quite delicious our first time round. I wish to try with lactose free ice-cream and gluten-free flour, not sure if it will work or not.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (approx 300g ) softened ice cream
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • Optional: Multi-coloured sprinkles

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C).
  2. Combine melted ice cream and self-rising flour. Mix until well combined
  3. Add any sprinkles, chocolate chips, or maybe strawberries
  4. Line a loaf pan with baking paper
  5. Pour batter into a loaf pan and spread evenly, place extra sprinkles if you like.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes. (Baking times and temperatures may vary from oven to oven.)
  7. Allow to cool fully before cutting.
